Guests in the building can take advantage of the ample rooftop space, as roof access is available to all. El Espacio In the building, there is two individual AirBnB listings at the moment. Both units have access to the rooftop, and if both are rented, they are conveniently divided by a hallway, allowing for easy connection for larger groups. Check Availability. Unit 1, "The Gallery," consists of a living room and two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 features a Queen bed, Bedroom 2 offers a Full futon, and the living room includes one futon bed and one twin futon bed. In total, The Gallery can accommodate one Queen bed, two full sofa beds, and one twin sofa. The unit also provides a private entrance, kitchen, bathroom, and patio. Unit 2, "The Spanglish," consists of a living room and one bedroom. The living room has two twin day beds, and the bedroom features two Full beds. (A bed connector is available upon request to create one large bed measuring 108 inches wide and 75 inches long.) The total bed configuration for The Spanglish includes two full beds (or full double beds) and two twin-day beds. This unit also offers a private entrance, kitchen, and bathroom. All apartments have access to the rooftop. Our property manager, Marcos, is a helpful and knowledgeable local who can assist you during your stay and provide exciting adventure ideas on the island. He resides on the property and is dedicated to ensuring you have a delightful vacation experience. Just steps away, you'll find three wonderful local restaurants: The Mezzanine (a personal favorite), Saint Germain Bistro & Cafe, and Deaverdura. These establishments offer excellent service, food, and drinks. The nightlife in Old San Juan is vibrant, with many people strolling around late into the night on weekends. If you're up for some fun, there are fantastic bars within walking distance, ensuring a safe journey back home. For a fun and convenient way to explore the city, consider renting an electric scooter. They can take you all the way to El Escambron, a popular beach. Simply download the "Bird" app and search for available scooters nearby. Of course, Ubers and taxis are also readily available! While you're here, here's some friendly advice about the unique Puerto Rican experience: Puerto Rico is an island that sometimes experiences water and electricity outages. The vibrant atmosphere of Puerto Rico means street noise is part of the experience. If you're a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs. Also, please keep in mind that while we always do our best to keep critters away, the tropical weather here means they can be a bit persistent. There are seasonal bugs that are attracted to light, so we advise turning off the lights to encourage them to move away. The building does not have an elevator, you must climb stairs to get to the apartment. As you enter the apartment, you are greeted by a spacious, inviting living room designed for relaxation and comfort. The large, comfortable sofa is perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The living room features high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing plenty of natural light to brighten the space. From here, you can enjoy the vibrant views of the Miramar neighborhood, a perfect backdrop for a morning coffee or an evening of relaxation. The living area also provides a cozy atmosphere for socializing, playing games, or watching your favorite shows. The apartment boasts a modern and fully-equipped kitchen that makes cooking a pleasure. Two trash bags, two rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, and one dish sponge are provided for your convenience. Each bathroom is equipped with dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and each guest is provided with one bath towel. Please note that laundry detergent is not provided. If you require any additional items or assistance during your stay, the host is happy to help. The building has a backup generator and a water cistern, but power outages may still occur due to interruptions in the electric company’s service. In the event of an outage lasting more than three hours, guests may cancel their reservation and request a refund for unused nights. However, refunds will not be provided for nights that have already been used. The Miramar area is home to an exceptional food scene, with a wide range of dining options to suit every taste. While the apartment does not have designated parking, there is a public parking lot across the street, and street parking is also available nearby. We highly recommend using Uber for getting around the Miramar area and beyond. Uber is a convenient option for traveling locally and is readily available in the neighborhood.
